YungBen’s Yoga

YungBen Yelvington in the Yellowstone Art Museum.

Welcome! I have a passion for teaching a variety of yoga practices including mat, aerial, and partner yoga. I teach classes for both children and adults. I can teach privately or for groups in a studio, on location in a corporate setting or even in the comfort of your own home.

I teach a group restorative yoga class at the Yellowstone Art Museum at 9 am before it opens to the public on the first Saturday of each month and the first Tuesday of each month at noon enjoy a 45 minute yoga flow from 12-12:45 pm. $15 per person includes admission to the museum or $10 for museum members and their guests. Pre-order lunch at Raven’s Café d’Art to enjoy after class. No pre-registration necessary.

I teach donation-based yoga classes at Rimrock Mall on Wednesdays. Currently teaching Parent and Baby Yoga and Healing Yoga as part of the Live360 Rimrock Mall program.

I also teach a six week Intro to Yoga series at Parks and Recreation at the Community Center located 390 N 23rd Street every Tuesday evening from 5:30-6:30 pm. You can stop in or sign up online by clicking the button below.

After trying some of YungBen’s restorative aerial yoga on the portable rig in her daughter-in-laws backyard on a sunny day, Roberta Frigon said “It is mental and physical therapy all in one. This is the best I’ve felt in two years.”

My private classes can include aerial yoga which can be taught on a steel portable rig that is rated to 1,200 pounds and can hang two yoga hammocks. Each hammock is safe for 2,000 lbs. Whatever your yoga experience needs, mat or aerial yoga, I offer a free initial consult to see if we are a good fit.

My yoga sessions come with everything you need for an amazing yoga experience. We have a limited supply of mats and props available and they are included with your lesson. Book a series of private classes and save. Check out this fun blog about our visit with the Backpacking Blotskes family.

YungBen realigned my relationship with that shoulder.

“YungBen’s yoga session at This House of Books in January was a revelation to me because of the insights I took away. The first was that the shoulder I thought was wonky and unreliable had just fine range of motion. YungBen realigned my relationship with that shoulder, and I’m so grateful. In addition, we rolled tight places on special water balls of his devising and away went a persistent pain in my gluteus maximus. Thank you, YungBen!”
